The Great Cousin Swap

This past Spring Candace and I thought it would be a great idea if our kids had more time together.  We decided on a week this summer and we would switch a kid.  I got Anna Grace and she got Kendrick.  This afternoon was our trade day and we met just east of Tyler on I-20 for the big swap.

On the way home the kids started singing, "I Got a Feelin'" by the Black Eyed Peas and cracking jokes saying, "You got it, chief!"  The giggles were contagious.
This evening after a well-eaten dinner of pigs-n-a-blanket, carrots, pineapple, and canteloupe and much swimming, they were given ice cream bars.  As they were sitting by the side of the pool, to sum it up, Anna Grace said, "Tonight was a good night."

Well stated, dear niece and I look forward to 5 more "good" days and nights!
