Stuff We Did While Dad Was Gone

Besides all the park action, we have been checking other things out and keeping ourselves occupied.

Boxes and paper are really fun to play with!

We checked out our local 24 hour fitness and I took a Turbo Kick Boxing class. It was good, but J. Cox, it just wasn't the same with out you!

Grocery stores we have visited include: Tom Thumb, Super Target, and Market Street. I will definitely be a frequent visitor to Market Street.
Thursday we went to spend the morning with our friends, the Davis'. The boys enjoyed playing outside and I enjoyed having some adult conversation.

We took a bike ride around the neighborhood. If I keep doing this though, I will have some monstrous thighs. Pulling the trailer with almost 60 pounds of kids up hills is no easy task. We also went into an open home. Ours is smaller, but finished out MUCH nicer.

My refrigerator was picked up on Friday and it won't be replaced until June 18th. We originally had gotten the full size and then realized that our cut out is for a counter depth. At least we have our back up fridge in the laundry room.

Cavett also helped me get the stack of 4' high broken down boxes to the curb. We also discovered that for them to pick up the packing paper, it must be stuffed in a box--not in a garbage bag. So, we re-made boxes and stuffed them back again.

I've just about decided on paint for the entry way and have it taped off, ready to go. It will be fauxed gold with bronze accents in the recessed areas, hopefully making the hallway seem wider.

Busy times--but I guess that happens when you are alone, with only an Iphone for any and all web/mail issues.

Stay tuned for a preview of the new house!
