Yesterday afternoon while we were swimming Cavett decided to go around the slide. Instead of going behind (where the ladder is) he chose to straddle the front edge. His foot slipped on the other side and he fell in the pool and brushed the side of his face on the flagstone coping. Poor thing now has a pretty large carpet burn looking scrape on the side of his face. This makes major face incident number 3. Hope we can make it through these boyhood years without major lifelong scars!

My son, who is 2.5 is always getting marks of some sort on his body. He reserves the ones on his face for when we are about to take a family picture of some sort. It hasn't failed yet!
Facial concealer has been my best friend during this stage. Those scars are pesky..still waiting for the one from March to completely go away. I hope Cavett enjoys his mark of bravery!!
