Today was Karen, my sister's step-father in-law's (and extremely distant relative to our side of the family) birthday. Did you follow that? Ok, who cares how we are realted, but Al and Sue Wyche had us out to their "compound" in Plain Dealing. Cavett and Stephen went out there early on Saturday morning with Will and later in the afternoon there was a golf scramble. Cavett hung with the "big" boys for about 7 holes, until I got there. He had a blast! Since he played with Will and KK at the Greatwood Golf Course, he has totally been interested in "golf ball". He was so excited to get the invitation to play with the boys.
He was absolutely worn out by 6:00. We had a great meal of fried catfish, hushpuppies and french fries, topped off with blackberry/raspberry cobbler and ice cream. After Cavett's belly was full and we combatted the tears, we headed home. The golf course is only3-5 minutes off the highway leading back to town. By the time we hit it, Cavett was passed out! It was a good time had by all. Thank you so much SuSu and Happy Birthday Al!!!
