The Helmet

Yesterday evening we played on the driveway while waiting for Dad to come home. Kendrick decided he was as grown up as Cavett and he wanted to ride the tricycle. He can't reach the pedals, but he loves to ride on it as I push. Luckily, it has a steering lock. However, the funny part was he insisted on the helmet. It's actually not a bad idea and I thought, maybe he would wear it all the time since he seems to get over one bump on the head, only to receive another. Anyway, he's pretty adorable, I must say.

Also, one of his buddies from around the corner came over to visit for a bit. Teague is just a week older than Kendrick. This age is just so funny to me. They quit dressing like babies, they are wobbly-walking, in to everything and going everywhere (like the street), but not talking. When you get a couple of them together, the funnier it looks to me. The other bizarre phenomenon is that at this stage, they normally parallel play. However, Kendrick and Tegaue both have olders in the house. They seem to be very interested in each other. We are looking forward to many more years of play with Teague.

Oh my. Those shots just give me insta-smirk. Why do boys just love to wear helmets so much?

These were priceless Jennifer!

Those boys are so cute! Isn't it fun to have another boy close in age for your son to play with? My boy's best little buddy is three months younger, and they have a blast together.

Love your new look!!!
Those shots of Kendrick in the helmet are adorable, but really when is he not adorable.
I love watching little kid friendships. They truly warm my heart.

Awww he's adorable. And I believe every boy needs a helmet. :) It is amazing how many bumps they get.

Those kids at that age are so funny, and so curious.

You'll have to check out this link. http://www.thudguard.com/
Isn't it funny how they always achieve some sort of bump/bruise/scratch on their heads? We have 2 of Corinne's photos from Mother's Day Out in which she has the remnants of 2 black eyes. Two separate times of year! And we had to cancel one of Lila's portrait sessions because a friend bit her on the cheek! Hilarious memories now!
