Operation Sell My House: Project # 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7

And so it continues. I haven't had time to breathe it is all going so fast! I promise that within the week you will have a complete story of how all this came to be. It's good, really good, so hang with me.

If you remember, project #1 was painting the half bath, and project #2 was the swag in my bathroom.

The past 2 days I have been scrounging the bargin shelves at places like Hobby Lobby and getting supplies at Lowe's. Here is what has come of it.

Project #3: Like I said earlier, we planted some impatients and coleus in the front flower beds for curb appeal.

Project #4: Art Niche beauty in my bathroom. I painted the back and found 3 pieces of glassware 50% off! I used the shells and sand from our Gulf Shores vacation 2 years ago. I moved a cross from the hall and hung it in the background. Voila!!! Peace and tranquillity for your bathing pleasure.

Project #5: Realtor said we needed art on our art-less walls in the game room. I found 4 posters of antique looking game boards. Stephen made box frames out of 1 X 2's and particle board. I stained the sides and decopaged the posters to the particle board. It didn't come out quite smoothe. I ended up with quite a few bubbles, but it makes it look more antique, right?

Project #6: My closet was a mess. I started last night and sort of finished this afternoon. I pulled out ALL the maternity clothes. Yes, sisters, they are coming back to you! Find room! It's one wardrobe box, a long under the bed plastic container and an enormous suitcase! Whew! Then I arranged and color coordinated a bit.

Project #7: With Cavett's help I rearranged the furniture back to its original position. I had tried the new position for more intimacy, but realtor said this way makes it look bigger, obviously.

On the books for the rest of the week--the air conditioner coil upsatirs is being replaced, the carpet will be stretched in several places, and the landscapers will be out to tide up. Can it all be done and ready to be on the market by Friday? Stay tuned!

I know the pain, the pain, the pain, all too well. Kinda miss the feeling of being so productive in a samll time span. The worst, not so fun project is around the corner....walkign out the door in a moment's notice to have your house shown! But, I am sure you can have Cavett and Kendrick well trained for that drill! :-) I see it already!

Everything looks good...what an adventure you are on. It will be worth it= don't read: I am glad because I am NOT! You will be missed. If you need a place to escape on a whim (showing), head over my way. We would love the company!

Everything looks GREAT! If I make a list of needs(which would be very long) will you please come over and work your magic?
