Friday Stephen got to enjoy Gymboree with Kendrick while Cavett and I got in some great board game playing. That afternoon, we got a babysitter and hopped on board Stephen's motorcycle for lunch, massages and a trip to the Interior Fabric store to decide on drapes for the new house. That evening was spent in the yard fixing sprinklers and chatting with neighbors.
Saturday morning, Cavett had his first soccer game of the season. I sent Cavett with Stephen and Kendrick and I came a bit later on my bike. Luckily, I got to see at least 10 minutes of the game. At this age, Kendrick just wants to be on the field playing, so I try and distract him with the playground equipment. This morning though, Kendrick watched for a little bit. I guess it was because there were others on the side cheering, not like practice. This is a picture at half time with his little friend Mason, who will be moving into our house at the end of May.
After soccer, Memaw and DD came for a quick visit. It was so good to see them and catch up on all the goings on for both of us.
That evening, we had a neighborhood crawfish boil. Fun times and good neighbors. We are really going to miss these guys!
Ashamedly, Sunday was spent at home, just lounging around. It was beautiful weather and it was Stephen's last day off for a while. We ate outside and enjoyed the hot tub as well. I so can't wait until we move up to Allen, if this is what life could be like when your husband doesn't work 6 days a week.
